In most cases, there are clear procedures to follow up, assess the condition and discuss next steps for the patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How a clinical trial ends<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each clinical study has a predefined duration and protocol.
